What laser for cutting 100mm plywood or spruce wood

Postby Sgsjvkjsjtyu » Wed Nov 25, 2015 9:43 pm

Greetings everyone,
Am new to CNC and i would like to ask a question about using laser cutters. I want a new laser cutter to use in engraving and cutting small pieces of wood from 100mm thick plywood.
I got an offer for the 80W Epilog laser cutter but the price happened to be a little too high for me therefore i ended up not purchasing it.
Please tell me whether there are any other good options out there for Chinese lasers cutters.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Sgsjvkjsjtyu welcome to the world of cnc. in response to your demand i think that cutting 100mm with 80 watts doesnt seem like a realistic request. why not mill it or use a virtical wire cutter? im not saying it cant be done but the piece will need many passes and the end result will be charred to a crisp.

what is your project?
