V cable alarm

Postby cocodancer » Mon Jul 27, 2015 5:16 pm

Has anyone else encountered this error/alarm in their operations? I have tried HAAS but it is not being of much help on troubleshooting. They are offering to send out someone at $90 hr travel and $125 hr troubleshooting. I checked the cable with a meter and the HAAS brushless servo-motor wiring diagram and from my observation everything looks good. The encoder motor would be next on there list.
I was just curious if anyone else had troubleshot this type of issue and what you checked

:o :o :o That's quite expensive. I doubt whoever they send would be worth that much.

I do agree with 1227Bro. I could say that is very exorbitant. Troubleshooting won't cost that much....
Never let any mechanical device know that you are in a hurry.
