Path pilot and subroutines

Postby LuckBeAHor5e » Fri Jul 24, 2015 11:01 am

The manual that came with my CNC talks of putting subroutines in separate file and there is a subroutine named folder in the directory. my questions are; How do the subroutines need to be declared if they are in a separate file since they must be defined ahead of the program? Will the subroutines need to be in the same folder as the program, or does Path Pilot automatically look in the Subroutine folder?

Hi, please allow me to answer only one part of your question coz that all am certain of as for now. The answer is no.. You don't really have to keep the subroutines in the same folder as the program unless you want to. Every time you start the program, the machine is able to call the routines and subroutines when needed from wherever folder they might be located.
