Whenever am working on a small diameter item on the 4th Axis Rotary I usually turn the Feed rate up to level of 60-75.0IN/min in an attempt to get a reasonable speed on the time spent in cutting. Unfortunately, this results into also changing the X feed to 60-75.0IN/min making the now occasional cuts across the X axis too fast. I normally end up losing crucial steps on my machine and hence ruining the part that am working on at the time. My question therefore is; Is there any way to speed up the A axis but not the X?
Your help is highly appreciated.
