The rough and fine mill problem

Postby T99448877 » Mon Jun 29, 2015 9:11 pm

I own a small portal - CNC. Mach3 is what i use to control it and it works nicely.
I desire to use it in making windows in enclosure's (mostly ABS) and the window (Acryl) itself so as to fit in the hole.
I have been trying to produce the g-code using G-Simple but then I always have to use 2 different mills (rough and fine).
However since my CNC is one that needs manual tool-change and manual calibration, i would prefer using only one tool.
My question is does one always have to use 2 different mills? If not, please tell me whether its an option in G-Simple or must i change to use other software?

Just stick to using the two mills coz the alternatives are too expensive and therefore not worth it.
