That is very inspiring. It is wonderful how a little creativity goes a long way in solving relevant issues that people are facing. This is one of the first green applications of CNC I have ever seen. :P

Just like these guys here making wonderful dino art...

Thanks, Breathe. That was my opinion too! They are from this site... http://www.makecnc.com/. And they are selling the awesome carvings for just $50 a pop. Here are some more samples from these guys...

These are incredibly beautiful. Does the manufacturer add coloring/paint?

I agree with you. I am not sure about any other customization options available here, but I guess once you have made something this beautiful, adding minor adjustments like that may be a walk in the park. So, to take a guess in the dark, I think YES.

these are pretty works of art, though they look delicate. I would buy the castle for my daughter but I worry how long it would last, that looks delicate.

Yeah, but all the same, they deserve to be accorded the care it needs. Take that bat for example--if the milling was just a bit more thinner I would suppose it will snap at the slightest pressure. I have never gotten one for myself but it looks fragile enough to warrant places which are kid-proof.

oh no they don't look that delicate. DO you have any idea how wood is hardy and resilient? I vouch for these art pieces.
