Homemade Apple Grinder

Postby RedCliffe » Thu Feb 18, 2016 6:00 pm

Hi Guys,
If you are a small scale juice manufacture or you would like to start the business, then is no reason of buying those expensive Grinders such as an apple grinder. I have learned a lot from this Hardworking man called Matthias Wandel.
I have come across a number of his videos showing how to make some homemade CNC machines.
I picked one of his projects which is about a Homemade Apple Grinder.
Here is the complete machine

The main material used to make it is wood. This apple grinder has got a chute which aids in directing the apples to the grinding drum.
This drum sits inside a wooden box. It uses stainless steel screws to grind up the apples and these counter-screws are inclined. The wooden box has been designed such that it has a bit of a bevel edge. This design prevents the thin ground apples from getting pulled through the slot.

The screws are made such that they are inclined. The drum grinds the apples against the wooden box.

This one is good. How many such Apple grinders do I need to start a good business? I mean processing the apple juice.
