Required acceleration

Postby Looker » Sun Oct 11, 2015 4:09 am

Hello folks,
I want to ask if anyone here knows the rate of acceleration for a PCNC 770 model? Am able to locate the feed rate, but i can't see the acceleration rate yet. I need to know it for since some types of work, acceleration would always make the bigger difference if you were to compare it with the feed rate.

If you are going at 20 -23" per second, you are doing OK. Anything lower is at Snails pace, anything faster will start missing steps.

25 - 27 would still do without missing steps Lorraine.
