machining of plastics and ally- whish spindle?

Postby Looker » Sun Sep 13, 2015 8:13 pm

Hi guys,
I am planing to machine plastics and ally using Proxxon die-cast Alluminium X-Y and i am looking at the spindles. I would appreciate an advice from someone who has experience on the Proxxon BFW 40/E spindle(900- 6000rpm). would it be better if i go for Kress spindles? if yes, which one?

There are two spindles that can be good for your work. The BFW and Kress. I would however advise you to go for Kress due to its quality results
