X4 from Robotcutters

Hello guys. I am fresher in CNC and of course I need some help. I have made my mind to acquire the Robotcutters’ X4. I am planning to work on wood, especially soft wood. I will not do much with the hardwood but only on a few occasions.
I have a 8 x4 table on which I will mount the X4. The specs of the machine from the site are
• 5 axis controller,
• 1500 x 3000 mm
My questions are: will the machine be able to tilt in order to make some angle cuts? And do I really require the stepper motors now that there is a 5-axis controller?

Do you have a picture of the mill? Upload if you have.

I would also want to know whether TR16 or ballscrews will serve me well.

5 axis controller means you have 5 axis of movement. however, it will use only 4 axis.

So what is the role of the 5th axis?

It serves as a spare

Yes, it is normally meant to be a spare and if you will want to add an extra axis in future like a rotary 4th axis the 5th axis can serve that purpose.
