Laser defect

What course of action should i take now that my 40W laser machine that i bought from China is presenting me with the anomally of a double line ?

I have tested alignment of the lenses and they are ok and the lens is clean

Any help rendered will be highly appreciated.

What is the nature of these double lines? are they Vertical black lines or vertical White lines?

It sometimes gives black lines sometimes white, All vertical. Any solution for these? or at least the cause?

The causes of the white vertical lines could be a failing toner cartridge of the contamination of the laser path. what you need to do is shake cartridge gently to distribute the toner or to replace it completely if the problem persists.
contamination will require the replacement of the laser assembly.
For the black vertical lines check the toner cartridge and replace it if it has become defective.

I did some half way test and found out that the toner cartridge was oK. The shaking it gently removed the white vertical lines, however the black lines are becoming more persistent. I am thinking of replacing the Toner cartridge..
