My BZT PFL-3 machine is terrible

Postby Bobby » Wed Sep 30, 2015 6:27 pm

I recently bought BZT PFL-3 machine but i have faced numerous problems using it. Among them are:
i) EStop never worked. Its now disabled.
ii) The axis now stall every other time. I changed motors and ballscrews but this only proved to be a temporary solution coz the problem is now back.
iii) The spindle and M3 have stopped too.
At a cost of nearly €5000 this provides terrible value for my money. I feel like taking the machine back.

Try doing trouble shooting. With the control unit and software on, enable drives and then see what happens. Am sure the stalling is a software problem rather than a hardware one.

Dis-assemble the machine to check the condition of the control board. It could be that its broken.

Contact BZT. I however have to warn you that they may ask you to ship it back for repairs and this will be expensive.
