Routed sapele "Mahogany"

Postby Barrack » Tue Sep 15, 2015 5:52 am

I am thinking on getting a routed sapele for a project but i hear some bad news that it is not easy for tear out. has any one here worked with it successfully?

Tear out is actually a problem with sapele. otherwise it does well in other sectors. It saws and finishes pretty well

Sapele will serve you well. You just need to pay closer attention and spend more time than in others when dealing with tear out.
