Thanks for the information guys. I tried all the options. I have checked on the amount of thread remaining and yes that was where the problem lied. I am now in the process of replacing as i found it hard to re-thread. Thanks onece again.

This is a wonderful home made machine. I watched the video and it is very great. I liked the fact that the steps of making it are not complicated.
One of its functions that captured my interest is that you can use it to cut gears with round teeth. That is amazing!

The best thing to do is to design your machine's mechanical system axis in such a manner that the timing belt is pinned at both ends
