Re: What is the difference between a drill mill and an end mill?

You can do that or if you have the money, just go for end bits that have inserts that are longer lasting. You can go for ceramic ones or make them yourself.

Re: Health Implications of Cutting Fluids

When people are doing their stuff on their NC’s, hair strands and cells form a layer on top of the cutting fluid. This naturally causes an ecosystem to develop on this layer. Have you ever heard of the “Monday morning smell?” This is what I mean. When the fluid is not stirred for long, the ecosystem...

Re: Machine Introductory Series: Introducing the Badog PCBCNC

It depends on you and your expertise; there is no set path to making the pcb board. However, here is a list for what is a Must Have: - Badog X2 - carbide drill bits, less than 8mm preferable -A 30 degree engraving bit (v-shaped) -Mach 3 for the control of the X2 -A probe for the PCB -Gcode for the p...

Re: Machine Introductory Series: Introducing the Badog PCBCNC

_Twain_ is right. Perhaps the hardest task is translating the g-code. You use the Eagle software for the circuit and the Mach3 for the CNC. I have seen it being milled by Badog and Isel and it comes out fine.

Re: Machine Introductory Series: Introducing the Badog PCBCNC

IIRC, the toner process of making the pcb circuit can take a week if you are lucky. That method is so outdated
