I recently tried replacing mine and it is the hardest thing to do. It is very hard to remove the old membranes as well as the glue used to hold them on. I sought some help from a friend and he recommended that after removing the old membrane, I clean out the residue from the plate using rubbing alco...

I could say that CNC routing is a subtractive process of manufacturing while 3D is additive. In CNC routing, unwanted material is cut e.g. when making a curve. 3D printing on the other had adds material on something. layers of material are laid upon each other in order to arrive at the desired shape.

Chester 16V

Hello,
I'm looking to fit ballscrews to my Chester 16V mill. The job involves modifications to the cross table, machine base and milling table.
I'm looking for somebody not too far from Sussex to bring him/her these components to mill out some material to enable me to mount the ball nuts.

Wiring issue

Hi,
Would someone please teach me the correct wiring scheme for the six wire stepper motor to the Makerbot driver. The motor has solid red, green, white, black, red/white stripe and red green stripe.
