The causes of the white vertical lines could be a failing toner cartridge of the contamination of the laser path. what you need to do is shake cartridge gently to distribute the toner or to replace it completely if the problem persists. contamination will require the replacement of the laser assemb...

It sometimes gives black lines sometimes white, All vertical. Any solution for these? or at least the cause?

Laser defect

What course of action should i take now that my 40W laser machine that i bought from China is presenting me with the anomally of a double line ?

I have tested alignment of the lenses and they are ok and the lens is clean

Any help rendered will be highly appreciated.

Agreed. It can be such a painstaking task to try and diagnose the problem but at best try to narrow down to a few possibilities.
