For the outside profile, let the spindle go anti-clockwise and the vice versa for the inside pocket.

What to consider before buying a CNC machine

Hi guys, I would like to by some kind of a machine; A CNC routing machine, but before i settle on this, i would like to know some of the factors that I should put into account.

That because for a machine using the x,y plane their are four reversals whenever you are cutting circles. Two of the them are for the x axis while the other two are for the y axis. It could be that what you are witnessing is the backlash at every reversal of the axis.
