I have some experience with hoist engine. It will mean you will have to raise the lathe on blocks. That will give you a clearance below in order to put the hoist’s legs. This will be are repetitive process.

The causes of the white vertical lines could be a failing toner cartridge of the contamination of the laser path. what you need to do is shake cartridge gently to distribute the toner or to replace it completely if the problem persists. contamination will require the replacement of the laser assembl...

Yeah I doubt if the EDM machining method beats CNCs...Electrical power consumption is quite high.The material must be electrically conductive so as to apply EDM method. My bet will be on the regular hobby cnc over edm anytime.

I came here to say this. It takes something like $1.5-2k to set up a machine shop. While for others it may be a small amount, for others it may be a large amount. So it depends, if you are a hobbyist out to learn and establish yourself in the machining world, this does not have to be hard. Of course...
